I’m Rian (Ryan but cooler) and I am the creator and recipe developer behind Rian Meck Cooks!
I am a 21-year-old who has been in the kitchen whipping up some amazing dishes for as long as I can remember. Don’t believe me? Just look at little me!
My passion is sharing crave-worthy recipes and dishes that are meant for busy people with the goal of proving that great food doesn’t need to be difficult to make!
How could I not LOVE sharing amazing recipes with the world? I mean, after all, there’s nothing like making great food for people that you care about 🙂
Fun Things About Me!
Not only have I been in the kitchen from a young age, but I also found my love for fishing and the outdoors at a young age! This is me with my Mima as she holds up the Walleye I just pulled in!! (If I held it, it’d probably flop right back into the water lol)
Continuing with my love of the outdoors… here is me holding a bullfrog I caught with my bare hands at my Mima’s pond! I just had to add this picture!
I absolutely LOVE to travel… whenever I can! I am fortunate enough to be able to say that I have been to 19 different countries in my 21 years alive!
My favorite travel story is when my two older sisters and I sold our childhood Legos online in order to save enough money to travel to Germany, Netherlands, and Belgium over our spring break in 2024!
This is me at my favorite place in the world, Canada. I told you all earlier I loved fishing and the great outdoors from a young age, and where we go in Canada is a major reason as to why I fell in love with them.
Cooking for the People I Love!
This is my wonderful family and I! I wouldn’t be the person I am today without each and every one of them.
Cooking for my family has always been my favorite thing to do since I was young! I would make something new and ask them to be the first people to try it. Now, whether or not I took constructive criticism to heart is a question for another day!
This is my absolutely incredible fiancé, Kyle. He is by far the best taste-tester and my number one supporter!
Sometimes if I’m persistent and I ask enough, he’ll answer some of my work emails (He’s better at wording things regardless)
This was us when we went into a Gucci store in Chicago to look around and shop with our eyes!
We are an amazing team, and I wouldn’t want it any other way!
This was the two of us right when we got off our cruise ship in the Bahamas! For obvious reasons, we were both super excited! (How could you not be??)
